While this is the lowest denomination for the series, very few of the 150+ issued examples, less than 20% at the time of cataloging, have escaped the low-mid grade tier and have found themselves with an Extremely Fine grade or better. Strong orange-red lathework surrounds the vignette of Vasco Núñez de Balboa with no major defects or distractions to report.
