A 1966 dated example of this scarce 5 Pound note, which is found in a Gem grade. This peach displays dark orange ink on milky white paper, while the reverse displays dark orange & green ink. On the obverse a colorful guilloche is seen at center, with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II found at right. Seldom do Gem examples of this pick variety become available to collectors, and this note would make a good pairing with the prior lot, as the notes are consecutive.
