Description

Federal Reserve Notes

Lot of (10) Fr. 1906 & 1907. 1969C & 1969D $1 Federal Reserve Note. Uncirculated. Courtesy Autographed.

An incredible district set with each note bearing courtesy autograph of Romana Acosta Banuelos. There is a single New York district note from the 1969-D series to go along with the complete nine note 1969-C district set. Also included is a letter from the Irving Bank in Chicago. It states "Enclosed you will find the 10 notes I promised(sic) you. The lady promised(sic) to sign 20 notes and only signed 10, and I owe you the 10. As my wife says 'I am putty in your hands.' Each one has a beautiful signature. I hope one day your boy appreciates your efforts." A truly intriguing set that will pique the interest of those who pursue this collecting niche.

Estimate: $ 800 - 1200
