Obv: Front view of Statue of Liberty divides portraits of Eifel and Bartholdi, names GUSTAVE / EIFFEL and AUGUSTE / BARTHOLDI below each, inscription INDEPENDANCE DES ETATS-UNIS 1776 / STATUE DE LA LIBERTE 1876 1886 above, names of makers LUTHRINGER / LIEVAIN at lower border. Rev: Rear view of Statue of Liberty divides views of famous structures in Paris and New York City, those on left including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre-Dame de Paris, on right the Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge. Accompanied by the original blue case from Monnaie de Paris, which is complete, although the lid is detached from the base. (Total: 1 medal; 1 case).
