J.H. HAWES three times on an 1843 Braided Hair large cent. Brunk-Unlisted, Rulau-Unlisted. Host coin Very Good.
This is certainly the stamp of John H. Hawes (1821-1902) who was a chemist and druggist working in Boston, MA from at least 1849 to 1879.
