BOWMAN on an 1854 Liberty Seated quarter. Brunk B-954, Rulau IL-Ot 5. Host coin Extra Fine. Plus an 1880 photograph.

William Emory Bowman (1834-1915) was a portrait and landscape photographer working in Ottawa, IL from the 1860s to the 1890s. He was born in Pennsylvania and was living in California when he passed away. This is a well centered and well struck example on a higher grade coin. Included with this lot is an actual photo by the artist.
