This is most likely the stamp of Peter Griffen who was working as a silversmith in Albany, NY. Griffen was partnered with George Anson Hoyt from 1819 to 1832 as GRIFFEN & HOYT and then with his son from 1832-1835 as GRIFFEN & SON.
