Here is a more affordable circulated quality example of this historic key date half dollar issue. Moderate hairlining and a somewhat glossy texture point to a cleaning; both sides also have a somewhat rough texture due to scattered marks and light pitting. The PCGS qualifier concerns a fairly well executed plug at 8 o'clock relative to the obverse, 10 o'clock on the reverse. Retoned rather nicely in a blend of pewter and steel-gray There is a lot about this coin that will please a budget minded collector.
