FRANCE. Crowning of Louis XV Silver Jeton, 1723. PCGS EF-40 Gold Shield.
Feuardent-10948. States of Languedoc series. Obverse: Crowned, draped, and mantled bust right; Reverse: Louis kneeling left before archbishop, praying and receiving crown. Pleasingly toned and lightly handled, this jeton is from the States of Languedoc series, recountinf various events during the reign of Louis XV.
