AUSTRIA. Franz Joseph I/Opening of the Shooting Range in Innsbruck Silver Medal, ND (1893). PCGS SPECIMEN-63 Gold Shield.
Wurzbach-2548; Hauser-5385. By V. Dobihal. Obverse: Uniformed bust right; Reverse: View of the shooting range. A bold and glistening piece, this tremendous specimen, the only example of the type in the PCGS census, offers mostly untoned surfaces with a gray slate gray nature and a good deal of luster. A hint of golden champagne near the peripheries merely augments its appeal.
