Obverse: FERDINANDVS MARIA EL BAVARIAE AT ADELHAID EL, jugate draped busts right of Ferdinand Maria, armored, and Maria; Reverse: SVARVM CELSITVD DEVOTmi STATVS, coat-of-arms with angelic supporter. Commemorating the royal marriage, this alluring and romantic specimen is quite RARE and one of just a handful known, and offers great color and very little in the way of handling. As noted, the edges do exhibit some filing--likely the result of placement within jewelry for a good portion of its life. Nevertheless, an excellent representative example.
