ETHIOPIA. Gold 1/8 Birr, EE 1917 (1925). Addis Ababa Mint. NGC AU-58.
Fr-26; KMX-3.1; Gill-Y21. An intriguing and SCARCE issue struck with the reverse die of the 1/32 Birr, but with the denomination in exergue effaced at the Addis Ababa Mint. A nicely preserved representative of this trial issue with an even strike and light signs of handling consistent for the grade displaying an attractive pale golden coloration offering much originality and a pleasing appearance.
