T-67. Confederate Currency. 1864 $20. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
No. 57082. Plate C. PF-11. Cr. 511. Keatinge & Ball, Columbia, SC. XXII seen in the sliver of the next note seen at lower right. Fully framed. So many of the gem notes of these 1864 types do not display the wide margins found on this piece. The last couple of gems we have seen sell at auction realized $300-$400 each.
