1769 Contemporary Counterfeit Irish Halfpenny. George III Type--Double Struck--Very Good.
115.2 grains. The second strike is about 50% off center and slightly rotated, the reverse an indent strike where an intervening planchet just distorted the reverse designs by the force of the strike. Porous, but worn smooth at the high points.
