1775 Contemporary Counterfeit English Halfpenny. George III Type--Double Struck--Choice Extremely Fine.
114.6 grains. Second strike is about 25% off-center toward the 4 o'clock position of the obverse, the two strikes overlapping in such a way as to preserve two full dates on the reverse. Chocolate brown, smooth and choice, with just a few marks of circulation in the fields.
