Lot of Approximately (110) Medals, Tokens and Coins Featuring Clasped Hands, Shaking Hands and Holding Hands, 1700s-1980s.
Quite a diverse and intriguing collection featuring such wide-ranging items as Civil War tokens, a Betts medal, a Swiss Shooting medal, Mardi Gras medals, some large European medals and plaques, a star-shaped Russian badge, and even, appropriately, a Dottie Dow simulated elongated cent handshake token from the 1964 ANA Convention. Mostly minor metals, but some of the silver items include a brooch made from three 1870's dimes made into love tokens, and a large and attractive Italian marriage medal featuring delicately intertwined fingers. Grades range from well worn and damaged to Prooflike Mint State, averaging a strong Very Fine. This is a must see, sold as is, no return lot .
