Indian Half Eagle
1909-D Indian Half Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS).
Highly lustrous honey-rose surfaces also sport razor sharp striking detail from the borders to the centers. The 1909-D half eagle is a favorite for collectors in part due to its availability. Almost three and a half million coins were struck at the Denver Mint that year, providing seemingly ample opportunity for the collector with an eye for quality. For the assigned grade, it is difficult for us to imagine a more inviting example than the Fairmont specimen offered here.
