1840-O Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Winter-1. Large O. AU-50 (NGC).
Bright deep gold patina with tinges of olive and apricot evident as the surfaces rotate under a light. A remarkable second About Uncirculated example of the normally elusive 1840-O quarter eagle, this NGC-certified coin represents the more frequently encountered Winter-1 Large O variety.
