Description

Colonial Notes
DE-60. Delaware. May 1, 1758. 20 Shillings. PMG Choice Fine 15.
Signed by Thomas Clark, David Hall, and William Armstrong. The back shows bold "Printed by B. Franklin and D. Hall," as well as the motto "To Counterfeit is Death." For the assigned grade, the Lion vignette remains remarkably strong. Any early Ben Franklin note that remains free of problems is to be treasured by any astute collector. Only three finer graded at PMG, with Top Pop for this denomination coming in at Very Fine 20.
Estimate: $800 - $1200
