Peace Silver Dollar
1927-S Peace Silver Dollar. MS-65 (NGC).
Brilliant frosty surfaces exhibit an above average strike for a San Francisco Mint Peace dollar, with bold detail at the centers. In addition to having a mintage of just 866,000 pieces, the 1927-S is rare in Gem Mint State due to a combination of striking deficiency and rough handling in government storage. This is a particularly noteworthy example that is sure to appeal to advanced Peace dollar enthusiasts.
