Mercury Dime
1927-S Mercury Dime. MS-66 (NGC). CAC.
Brilliant apart from delicate iridescent gold highlights, this lovely premium Gem example also displays lovely mint luster and sharp to full striking detail. Like most mintmarked Mercury dimes from the 1920s, the 1927-S saw extensive commercial use with the result that Mint State survivors are scarce. This is an exceptionally well preserved example that is also very close to a Full Bands designation.
