This warmly and vividly toned Gem features lovely reddish-gold iridescence. It has impressively sharp striking detail and full, frosty mint luster. Survivors of this 13,820,000-piece issue are scarce in all grades above EF. Mint State pieces are particularly elusive when they display the combination of expert striking quality and careful surface preservation offered here. An important find for the advanced Mercury dime enthusiast.
