1866 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66 Cameo (PCGS).
This Gem Cameo Proof is toned in light golden shades and delicate peach patina. The devices are sharply struck with rich, frosty luster, complementing the reflective fields on both sides. A meandering strike-through is noted in the left reverse field near the wreath. This piece is among the finest known and only 5 have been graded finer by PCGS.
