Vermont Copper
1788 Vermont Copper. RR-20, W-2150. Rarity-4. Mailed Bust Right. VF-20 (PCGS).
119.8 grains. Mottled dark brown and olive with a bit of very thin black scale at the base of the obverse. Sharp and well centered, finely granular but still quite attractive. Very late die state, with three cracks at the left side of the reverse and extensive swelling in the chest of the seated figure. This is a high grade example of this scarce and interesting die state.
