29 mm. Exceptionally well preserved surfaces retain glints of original pinkish-apricot color in the protected areas around many of the design elements. Otherwise attractively toned in iridescent golden-brown, both sides are fully struck with intricate detail throughout the design. British Conder tokens of this type, and with similar obverse motifs, are often included in American collections of Hard Times tokens alongside examples of HT-81 and HT-82, the popular kneeling enslaved person type. This is a premium quality Gem that will please the discerning collector.
