38 mm. 26.64 grams. Obv: Armored and draped bust left. Rev: Pax, standing right before temple of Janus with closed doors, holding cornucopia and lighting fire to pile of arms with torch. A later cast of this engaging type, the present specimen offers warm brown surfaces with just a small degree of light handling upon the high points. A great overall peace treaty type, commemorating the end of the Habsburg-Valois War in 1559.
