COSTA RICA. Costa Rica - United States of America. San Miguel. M. Brene's Copper Cent Token, (ca. 1870). PCGS GOOD-06 Gold Shield.
Rulua-SJS-98. "HABILITADO / POR / F. / PINTO / M." in two separate circular countermarks on obverse; "F. BRENE / (plant) / SAN / MIGUEL" in oval countermark on reverse. Host coin: American "Indian Head" Cent (cf. KM-90a). Though the host is rather well worn, this stands as a highly unusual and RARE type.
