ATTICA. Athens. AR Tetradrachm (17.11 gms), ca. 454-404 B.C. NGC Ch AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5.
Kroll-8; HGC-4, 1597. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. An always popular type, offering a fairly bold strike along with intense, shimmering brilliance.
