KM-19.1; Gomes-4.01; LDMB-12. A crowned "600" countermark on a Spanish Colonial 8 Reales cob. The countermark exhibits an unusual multiple punch, having been emplaced at least four times. A good amount of detail remains on the host coin, which is pleasantly toned.
