AUGUSTUS, 27 B.C.- A.D. 14. AR Quinarius (1.81 gms), Emerita Mint; P. Carisius, legatus pro praetore, ca. 25-23 B.C. NEARLY EXTREMELY FINE.
RIC-1a; RSC-386. Obverse: Bare head right; Reverse: Victory standing right, crowning trophy; dagger and curved sword at base. A lightly toned and pleasing example of this minor denomination, offering a solid portrait of Augustus.
