Description

FRANCE. 24 Livres, 1793-A. Paris Mint. PCGS Genuine--Scratch, AU Details Gold Shield.
Fr-478; KM-626.1; Gad-62. An attractive moderately handled survivor with even wear on the high points. Several shallow adjustment marks are noticed on the reverse as is common for this issue, but this cataloger fails to see the noted details designation of "Scratch" anywhere on either side. The surfaces retain much of their satiny luster normally associated with this issue accentuated by mild sunset hued tone radiating from the devices. Despite its noted shortcomings a wholly original looking example of this popular and SCARCE type sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
