Obverse: + IҺS XPS RЄX RЄGNANTIЧM, Christ seated facing on throne, raising hand in benediction; Reverse: ЬASILIOS ЄT CONSTANT AЧςς Ь, crowned facing busts of Basil, wearing loros, and Constantine, wearing chlamys, holding between them a patriarchal cross. An excellent strike with satiny surfaces and solid centering, the present specimen also offers a good deal of lustrous brilliance remaining.
