Watermark of Bank Title. The reverse depicts D'Affonso Henriques (Alfonso I of Portugal) in armor at center with detailed lathe work seen in the surrounding design. The front displays an ornate design with columns surrounding two allegorical females at left and right. Lovely dark blue ink stand out on the front and back of the note. This note and the other example we are offering are both tied for the finest known for the variety, and at the time of cataloging are the only two graded by PMG.
