Scarce and highly rare early first issue of this "Grand-Liban" type. A couple highly rust specks is seen on back as PMG also mention in comments section "Rust." The dimensions, origin and given the turbulent time of this piece made it virtually impossible to save any better. The book "Lebanon Paper Money and Coins" by Abdo Ayoub states a scant 15 known pieces for this earliest date. Currently only nine listed on the population report. Apparently quite scarce; according to international auction records seldom offered.
