Nesmith lists several L over O overassayer marks, but none with column top type D1 like the piece presented here. The overassayer is quite clear and easily visible. A decently struck piece on a mostly round planchet with minor surface porosity as indicated on the PCGS insert as "Environmental Damage". Despite its shortcomings a wholesome inexpensive collectible example of the type perfect for the beginner.
