Diameter: 25mm. Obverse: Liberty head facing right with berried branches left and right; dot below, star above; Reverse: Town setting with windmill; Toronto - 1834 in exergue. A stunning medal that possesses bright matte-textured surfaces that seem well beyond the assigned grade, without evidence of marks of past handling. Obviously RARE as well, this is the first example we have located in any format and its one-time inclusion inside one of the most famous collections of the 20th century only serves to validate its desirability.
