Zottl-2965. Commemorating the completion of the Gates of Sigismund. Obverse: Mantled bust right, wearing zucchetto; Reverse: Frontal view of he Gates of Sigismund, with small pyramid to left and right. An alluring medallic issue, this example yields deep steel gray surfaces with some subtle hints of cobalt. The finer by far of just two graded in the PCGS census.
