1879-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS).

Especially attractive in a Gem example of this conditionally challenging New Orleans Mint issue, the reverse is layered in richly original rose-gold, olive-charcoal and cobalt blue patina. Otherwise untoned, the obverse exhibit a crescent of powder blue and champagne-rose iridescence along the left border. Sharply struck and frosty throughout, there is much to recommend this coin to the Morgan dollar toning enthusiast.
