CHINA. Dollar, Year 21 (1932). NGC MS-61.
L&M-108; K-622; KM-Y-344; WS-0144. Birds over Junk variety. Lustrous with peripheral toning. A luster graze under Sun's chin and a few nicks limit the grade. The Illustrated Catalog of Chines Gold & Silver Coins comments that this coin was withdrawn not because of the birds but because the rising sun was seen as a reference to the invader Japan.
Estimate: $4000.00- $6000.00
On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items manufactured in China.
