Description

CHINA. Zhou Dynasty. State of Qi. Three Character Knife Money, ND (ca. 400-220 B.C.). Warring States Period. Graded "80" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
cf. Hartill-4.6m & 4.7m. Weight: 47.7 gms. Obverse: "Qi Fa Hua" (Qi legal money) in seal script; Reverse: "Che" in seal script. A rather alluring specimen, featuring hard green patina throughout, though more concentrated near the peripheries, while the central areas and some of the high points exhibit more of a brick red appearance.
