M. AEMILIUS SCAURUS and PUB. PLAUTIUS HYPSAEUS, Rome. Fourrèe Denarius. (58 BC). AR, Silver Obv.:Nabatean king Aretas kneeling to right, olive branch raised in right hand, reins of camel standing right beside him in left. Rev.: Jupiter in fast quadriga left, reins in left hand, hurling thunderbolt with right; scorpion right in left field, CAPTV upward to right; C HVPSAE COS PREIVE in two lines in exergue. Condition: Very fine.
