PHRYGIA. Sebaste. Gordianus III Pius, (238-244 AD). AE Bronze Obv: AVT K M AN - ΤΩ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r., seen from rear. Rev. CΕΒΑCΤ - ΗΝΩΝ Cybele, wearing polos (headdress), peplos and mantle, seated l. on throne with high back-rest, holding patera in her outstretched r. hand, l. elbow resting on tympanon (drum); at feet, lion lying l., head turned r. Condition: Good very fine.
