PHRYGIA. Cotiaeum. Pseudo-autonomous. Reign of Severus Alexander, (222-235 AD) AE. Bronze. (Magistrate: Publius Aelius Demetrianos). first archon for the second time. Obv: ΔΗΜΟϹ. Draped bust of the Demos (bearded) wearing diadem, right. Rev: ΕΠΙ Π ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΑΝΟΥ ΑΡΧ Β ΚΟΤΙΑΕΩΝ. Cybele seated left, holding patera and resting arm on tympanum; between two lions RPC VI, 30686 (temporary) Condition: Good very fine. (Rare)
