Description

Elizabeth II (1952-2022), silver proof Two Ounces of Five Pounds, 2019, Una and the Lion, struck in .999 fine silver, from the Great Engravers series, crowned head right, J.C. below bust for designer Jody Clark, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ELIZABETH II. D. G REG. FID. DEF. 5 POUNDS, rev. Queen Victoria in the role of Una leading the British lion left, Latin inscription DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS above, date MMXIX in exergue, W. Wyon R.A. below for original engraver and designer William Wyon, 62.42g (S.GE1). Proof state with pleasing cameo and lustre, accompanied with original Royal Mint box and Certificate of Authenticity.  Limited issue of 3,000.
The Latin legend translates as "Elizabeth the Second by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith." The inscription on the reverse translates as "May God direct my steps."
