g Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1877, fourth young head left, nose points nearer to O in legend, narrow front hair fillet, type A4 with die number, with date below, Latin legend surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, die number 136 below, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: (Hill 452; Bull EGC.1283; MCE.452; S.3860E). Toned with surface marks and nicks, has been slabbed and graded by PCGS as AU58.PCGS Certification 206659.58/37318649.

Calendar year mintage 1,962,800.
The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse as "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
