New Zealand, George VI (1936-52), silver Florin, 1942, crowned bust of George VI left, initials HP below truncation for engraver Thomas Humphrey Paget, legend surrounding both sides, GEORGE VI KING EMPEROR, rev. kiwi bird left, initials KG to bottom right for engraver George Kruger Gray, denomination and date below, NEW. ZEALAND ONE. FLORIN., edge milled (KM.10.1). Lightly toned, a stunning piece with a pleasing portrait, graded by PCGS as MS64, only three examples finer across NGC and PCGS.
