Victoria (1837-1901), gold Two Pounds, 1887, Jubilee bust left, J.E.B. on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. St. George and the Dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, 16.03g (Dyer 2c/3b; Hill T26; DISH C207; S.3865). Bright surfaces with good residual lustre, graded by NGC as MS62.

NGC Certification 6845263-001

Calendar year mintage 91,345.

The Latin legend translates as “Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith.”
