William IV (1830-37), silver Sixpence, 1834, bare head right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, rev. denomination SIX PENCE across two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date below, edge milled, 2.81g (Bull 2504; Davies 361; ESC 1674; C&R 1340; S.3836). Toned with a copper hue, graded by NGC as AU53.

NGC Certification 6675018-009

Calendar year mintage 5,892,400.

The Latin legend translates as “William the Fourth by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith.”
