PF65 CAM | Elizabeth II (1952-), cupro-nickel proof Crown, 1953, Coronation issue, Queen on horseback left, groundline below, initials G L to right for designer Gilbert Ledward, crowned EIIR to left and to right of horse, denomination FIVE SHILLINGS below with rose either side, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ELIZABETH. II. DEI. GRATIA. BRITT OMN. REGINA. FIDEI. DEFENSOR, rev. struck en medaille, crown at centre, cruciform emblems around, emblematic shields in angles, date either side of Welsh leek, tiny EF below Irish shield for co-designer Edgar Fuller, tiny CT below English shield for co-designer Cecil Thomas, toothed border and raised rim surrounding, edge with incuse English legend, +FAITH AND TRUTH I BEAR UNTO YOU (Bull 4333; ESC 393H; L&S 3; Davies 2280; S.4136). Lightly toned with some tiny flecks and specks, otherwise practically as struck, graded by NGC as PF65 Cameo.

NGC certification 6321545-001.

The Latin legends translate on obverse "Elizabeth the Second, by the grace of God, Queen of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
