PF66 | George VI (1936-52), gold proof Two Pounds, 1937, bare head left, initials HP below neck for engraver Humphrey Paget, legend and outer border surrounding, GEORGIVS VI D:G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:, rev. St. George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, edge plain (WR 437; S.4075). A premium gem specimen, small mark to the right of horse’s nose on reverse, otherwise almost as struck, graded by NGC as PF66.

NGC Certification 6134892-001.

Calendar Year Mintage 5,501.

The Latin legend translates as "George the Sixth by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".
